This is my personal and hallucinogenic interpretation of La Vida es Sueño (Life is a Dream)—a 1635 play by Spanish writer Calderon de la Barca, which I first read when I was a teenager.

At the time of reading the original play, I was struck by its deep reflection of the fragile dichotomy between dream and reality. In my version, I depict a young woman sliding across this threshold, while she guides us through her own thoughts and the crisis of identity which she encounters along the way.
